Founded in 1999 in Indore, SSVS works at the intersection of child rights, education and rehabilitation across Madhya Pradesh.

Our journey

From a small Indore initiative to a 25-year movement.

  1. 1999

    SSVS founded

    Established in Indore to support marginalised children and families.

  2. 2006

    NCLP partnership

    Joined the National Child Labour Project to rescue and rehabilitate child laborers.

  3. 2013

    Shelter Home launched

    Opened a 24x7 government-recognised shelter for orphaned and at-risk children.

  4. 2015

    Children Home

    Education and rescue programs extended in Indore

  5. 2025

    1,000+ lives

    Crossed 1,000 children impacted across our four flagship programs.
